Game Pieces and Categories:
There are 27 game board pieces for each category. You do not have to use every card while setting up your game board!
Game cards are included for the following topics: Technique, Intervals, Terms, Composers, Symbols, Note Naming, Sight Reading & Ear Training.
Technique cards: 27 key name cards, 54 skill cards (scales, chords, arpeggios, cadences).
Includes all the technique requirements for Royal Conservatory & Conservatory Canada.
Interval cards: 27 cards including every interval within an octave (major/minor 2, 3, 6, 7, perfect unison, 4, 5, octave & diminished 5th)
Terms & symbols cards: 162 terms & 54 symbols cards. All Royal Conservatory terms & symbols from the rudiments level are included. Difficulty of terms cards are indicated by a small 1, 2, or 3 in the bottom right corner of the card (1 is easiest , 3 is most difficult).
Composer cards: 27 cards including popular compositions from Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky Handel, Haydn, Brahms, Chopin, Debussy, Schubert, Mozart. There is the name of a composition on the front of the card & the name & picture of the composer who wrote it on the back.
Note naming cards: 54 cards including notes up to 4 ledger lines above & below the staff.
Sight Reading & Ear Training cards: 27 cards including suggestions for sight clapping, sight playing, clap backs, play backs, cadences and playing something by memory
